The Mind Behind Fall's Whispers and Calm in the Wild: Clarice Diamantino

Our two most recent collections were both created by an artist who used her own emotions and vision to transmit her designs into beautiful Boba wraps and carriers.

Clarice Diamantino is a graphic designer and illustrator born in Brazil and currently based in Lisbon, Portugal. She is the mind behind our two most recent releases, Fall’s Whispers and Calm in the Wild.

Here is a conversation we had with her to get an inside look on the creativity she channeled to inspire these two stunning collections:

Tell us a bit about yourself

Telling cute visual stories that resonate with global audiences is my drive and everyday joy. I’ve been doing this for over 15 years and I love it!

When I'm not working, I love spending quality time with my loved ones. There's nothing more fulfilling than being surrounded by family, friends, and my dog Caju.

Where did your inspiration come from for the Fall Whispers collection?

The Fall's Whispers collection draws inspiration from the serene feeling of walking in a garden during Autumn. The gentle, cold breeze, the vibrant colors, and the cozy atmosphere of Fall evoke a sense of peacefulness that I wanted to capture in this collection.

What does the leopard print you created represent to you and to the parents who will wear it?

For me, the leopard print is fun, bold, timeless, and chic. It is a perfect match for parents who want to add a fashionable touch to their outfits.

What made you want to become a designer?

Ever since I was a child, drawing has been my way of expressing myself, so, in some way, I always knew that I would pursue a career in some form of art. Being a designer is the perfect way to combine my love for creating and storytelling.

What is the main message that you want your designs to transmit?

My goal is to develop designs that resonate with people on an emotional level. I understand how important it is to establish that connection with the audience, and I put my heart and soul into every project I work on to achieve it.
