We often say we want to learn from children, but do we really? Lately I’ve been watching my own two kids through the eyes of a student and have been soaking up their creativity, unassuming ways, and intolerance for pretenses.
When we let go of the idea that we are “above” children and that our job is to control them, a door opens. What if it isn’t our calling to make them carbon copies of ourselves?
